Load Calculation

ADC performs load calculations for onshore and offshore projects. We calculate horizontal and vertical wind turbines with tubular steel towers, lattice towers or complex supporting structures. Damper systems can also be modeled for load reduction.

We carry out the verification in accordance with IEC, GL or DIBt guidelines. Our reports have been successfully certified by DNV GL, DEWI-OCC and TÜV many times. We are happy to assist you during the certification with our long-term experience.



The load calculation software ADCoS simulates the interaction between structural dynamics and aerodynamics of wind turbines. ADCoS is based on a finite element method. The intuitive user interface offers a variety of possible applications.

Both horizontal and vertical wind turbines can be simulated. Details such as damper systems or cable supportes towers can be considered. We offer licenses and trainings to our customers, so that they can carry out load calculations independently.


Controller Optimization

The controler of a wind turbine has a significant influence on the loads. All components of the drivetrain have to be coordinated with each other. We offer you the development and optimization of the control algorithm.
